RECIPE BELOW! ⭐️ Recipe for unMeat Musubi Ingredients: – Calrose Rice (2 Cups for Every Can of Spam) – Teriyaki Sauce: – Soy Sauce (3 Tablespoons) – Brown Sugar (1/3 Cup) – Mirin (2 Tablespoons) – Sesame Oil (1 teaspoon) – unMeat ⭐️ – Spray oil – Sushi Nori (Seaweed) – Furikake Seasoning (optional) Cooking Instructions: 1. **Rinse the Rice:** – Wash the Calrose rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming too sticky. 2. **Prepare Teriyaki Sauce:** – In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, and sesame oil until well combined. Set aside. 3. **Cooking unMeat:** – Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly spray with oil. – Place the unMeat in the pan and pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over it. – Allow the unMeat to cook for a few minutes on each side, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce. Flip and marinate the other side as well. 4. **Preparing Rice:** – In a rice cooker or pot, combine the rinsed Calrose rice with water (use a ratio of 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice). – Cook the rice according to the instructions until it’s fluffy and fully cooked. Fluff the rice with a fork and let it cool slightly. 5. **Wrapping Into Musubi:** – Place a cutting board wrapped in aluminum foil on your work surface. – Lay a sheet of sushi nori (seaweed) shiny side down on the cutting board. – Position a musubi mold in the center of the seaweed. – Fill the mold with a layer of cooked rice, pressing lightly to create a firm base. Leave some room at the top for the unMeat. – Optionally, sprinkle furikake seasoning over the rice for added flavor. – Place a piece of cooked unMeat on top of the rice. – Add another layer of rice on top of the unMeat, pressing gently to compact the layers. – Carefully remove the musubi mold. – Fold the seaweed over the rice and unMeat, sealing the edges with a dab of water to secure.
