Fredric Aasbø Instagram – I decided to test the 3UZ V8 engine platform in my #TeamToyota Supra ice drift car! Thanks to @jonusracing, @vtssolutions, @hughesracebuilt and the partners involved for all the help here!
Engine: 3UZ-FE factory block with @kelfordcams B spec VVTi cams, @maxxecu, @pmcmotorsport flywheel & adapter, @tenacimotorsport clutch, @driveshaftshop carbon fiber driveshaft, @knfilters intake, OEM @toyota_norge service parts and of course @eneosusa Racing Street 0W-50 engine oil.
It made 306 hp on the hub dyno (350 flywheel) and it wants to rev to the moon if we didn’t cap it at 7800 rpm. Equal length headers would probably help the power a bit.
Let’s see how it handles the sustained high rpms on the frozen lakes!
