A week of attending shows with these knuckle-heads. I got to see the production of @littleshopnyc that I will be joining, and MY GODS this is such a good show. I’m still trying to wrap my mind around getting to join such a fantastic production in such a fun role. I start April 2nd and run for 8 weeks only!
Is it still “difference of political opinion” to fail a student trusted in your care? I don’t care how the student presents or identifies, or how the f*ck you feel about it. If you find a young person in need of help, you help them. Administrators at this school are shameful— your duty is to protect the students and you failed miserably.

“My belief when it comes to faith, spirituality, religion, whatever you define it as, is just as long as you chose it for yourself. You know, we’re having all this talk about things being imposed on kids and it’s finally starting to dawn on people. You know what gets imposed on kids without a word being said about it? Religion. Dogma. Something that could define the rest of your life. For real. So I’m just like, choose it for yourself and realize that everyone else gets to choose theirs for themselves too. But for me, everything comes down to rituals I do, you know, and I like to look at everything from a scientific point of view and then if I was looking at it from a magical or spiritual point of view, what would it be? And then I kind of like marry the two. And I always say that like to believe in magic is a choice, you know, I know how things scientifically work, but I also know that it makes me feel good to light incense and to say a little morning spell or whatever the ritual may be. And so it’s like when I thought about my Catholic upbringing and all of the things that made my family cry and feel guilty and ashamed to go to church was like the stuff at the church, but all of the stuff that we did at home, that was the way we empowered ourselves. And I was like, oh, that’s witchcraft. Like if I strip away the Catholicism, I was actually raised by witches. Once I realized that, I was like, oh, it doesn’t matter what it is. It just needs to be something that is part of the solution and not part of the problem. So for me, it’s all about rituals, daily rituals and making sure that I meet my daily needs so that I’m bringing my best to what I have to do that day. “
