John Daub Instagram – Japanese Indigo Dyeing called Aizome dates back 1000 years to the Sengoku period (time of war) when Samurai called it “Kachi-iro” – Winning Color! for battle! In the 1980’s Japan’s National Soccer ⚽️ Team changed their colors from red & white 🇯🇵 to Kachi-iro“Samurai Blue” and started winning. It’s Japan’s real national color 😉 and for me, I’ll be wearing it on my hands for 2 weeks! I dyed my @allbirdsjapan shoes blue and it looks incredible!
