After becoming the first female controlling owner to win the NBA championship in 2020 and the In-Season Tournament Championship in 2023, you have truly proven to everyone that women can be just as successful as men while running a professional team- if not more.
You have successfully upheld the first-class Lakers’ legacy that your father and my mentor Dr. Jerry Buss created with such grace! It was an honor and pleasure to be able to work with you side by side fulfilling a dream of Dr. Buss. You truly have the biggest heart. I’ve seen firsthand how you’ve blessed people through opportunities and donating millions of dollars to charitable organizations. I know your father is beaming with pride for the woman you are today!

The team owner reached out to me to see if I had any interest in doing a marketing deal. They offered me a percentage of the team with cash and named it after me, but I was never the majority owner. I was excited about the opportunity and even agreed to play in 5 games, all sold out, to help the team drive revenue! I had so much fun! Shout out to all the fans in Sweden who showed up to support and watch the Magic man play!

Happy Birthday to the to the GOAT of gymnastics, Simone Biles!! 🎉 She’s the most decorated American gymnast in history with countless records, 33 international medals earned and a vault named after her – Simone is in a class of her own and it’s so fitting her birthday falls during Women’s History Month!! I met her and her parents during an interview we did back in 2016 after the Rio Olympic Games, and she was so well-spoken and had such a great mindset. I’m glad she’s back and I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do this year!
