This week is bittersweet…I love celebrating LOVE for Valentines — But the day also happens to be my Grandmothers Birthday… and also happens to be the day she passed. She was special.
She was one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters. Everything I did in my young acting years was thanks to her. I’m on this path largely because of her. Sometimes I feel like I’d be so much further along than where I am if she was still here … but then I get little reminders that popped up today like this one I posted a while back, along with the quote— “It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish” — It was a song she had me learn when I was very young for one of my first auditions.. . I never really understood the meaning until now ❤️
Here’s a little #MondayMotivation for whoever needs it- Some wisdom passed on from my Grandmother (and Barbara Cook)!
