Arianna Huffington Instagram – Loved my conversation at @gogloat Live about how organizations can thrive through change with Laura Powell, Global Head of HR, Wealth and Personal Banking at @HSBC, Michele Chase, Chief People Officer at @Omnicom Public Relations Group, and Vicki Rawlinson, US CHRO at @Novartis. We also talked about the growing importance of upskilling and reskilling, and how essential resilience is in that process. And Michele talked about the idea of re-recruiting — giving employees the opportunity to both grow in their careers and grow as people.

One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to play the personal Resets we created for Laura, Michele and Vicki. Reset is one of the most popular tools on our platform. It’s based on neuroscience that we’re able to course-correct from stress in as little as 60 seconds by focusing on conscious breathing, gratitude and joy triggers. And we can’t learn new skills, nurture our resilience, or navigate change when we’re stressed and depleted. Thrive’s library includes hundreds of 60-second Resets — on themes like breathing, mindfulness, gratitude and stretching — but you can also create your own personal Resets by bringing together the things that give you joy in your life. I particularly loved seeing Laura’s chicken peck around joyfully in her Reset, along with the cherished images of everyone’s families and 60 seconds of songs they love. The reaction in the room after each Reset played was incredible. And I loved how honest Laura was about how creating her Reset pushed her out of her comfort zone. “It made me so emotional,” she said. “It’s just amazing seeing it… I would really, really recommend them.”

And we had fun in the green room sharing my favorite sweaters with @Thrive Global’s motto, “Onward, Upward, Inward.”

Arianna Huffington Instagram – Loved my conversation with Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief @emma_tucker2 at the @femalefoundersfund CEO Summit at the New York Stock Exchange.

Emma’s advice for female founders and leaders? “Trust your boots,” which she explained is a “stand-in for your instinct or your plan”: “Put your boots on. Lean into them, and they’ll get you to the next hurdle.”

Emma is the first female editor-in-chief of the @WSJ, and she stressed the importance of taking risks and being fearless, which doesn’t mean not having fears but simply not letting our fears stop us!
