This post is VERY late but the last year has been a little crazy. Last Thanksgiving, I got to spend the best vacation ever in PV with mom, bro, both husbands, and friend with benefits. At the GORGEOUS @vidanta resort in PV who served us the most gorgeous room I’ve ever gotten to stay in (truly actually), views like Whoah, amazing dinners including American Thanksgiving on the beach just like the First Thanksgiving (jk but might as well add that to the fun fake story we tell), pools pools all types of pools, World Cup parties, a boat adventure that none of us deserved and so we all kind of giggled in disbelief the entire time before we got slapped slack jawed by the views , an in-room private breakfast that was so amazing I wound up taking 800 pictures of (more than the nature around me because I’ve never seen a breakfast like this- A DONUT BOARD?!?), and the best personal concierge Andrea who we insisted take a picture with us. I don’t know if that’s her job title exactly because I’ve never experienced all of this and so I’m trying to remember it and I feel like Nick in Great Gatsby (sort of? Bad analogy but the real book I’m thinking of is called The Wanderer and it’s French and I just remember it reminded me of Great Gatsby) Anyway. This place was amaaaazing and I don’t get to see my family as often as I’d like and it meant so so so much to me. I’m sorry it took 8 months to post about it. A lot of life happened in between. And a lot of life happening makes beautiful time spent with people you love all that much more special.
Oh- and they have a chef who just makes chocolate creations.

Happy Gotcha Day to my favorite lady who can sleep anywhere at any time in any position. Tongue out, puss and legs up, on a pizza, on a chocolate covered strawberry, with her face being smushed. She looks great in all hats and accessories. She’s great at cuddling and she waits for everybody outside the bathroom door (in case we fall in?) On this, our 10th year together as family, she learned to swim (or really just run on a sun shelf in a pool). She saw the ocean in New Jersey (AY! BADA BING! Etc). She slept butt to butt with a cat. She gave us a scare with some kidney issues and Dr. Yoshida saved her with a new prescription diet. I get weird sweet potato goop on my hands every day but it means I get my girl around a little longer. Every day I get to come home to Lucille Lucinda Lucita Bonita is a good day. Adopting her from @bestfriendsanimalsociety on March 22, 2014 was the best decision I’ve ever made. *Last slide is a toy that I very confusedly thought was named Tittaboy at first. So now that’s what he’s called forever. Lil Tittyboy
