Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. I know this year was 7.5 years long so I hope everybody has somebody (somebody includes pets obviously) to love and be loved by around them because this time can be really hard even when unimaginable tragedy and cruelty isn’t right outside the door everyday. I’m so happy for my beautiful bébé and my old lady baby Lucy and my bb honey pie John. And for my mama coming in from Mexico with the best present ever (a chihuahua who plays maracas and sings La Bamba and turns himself off after the song ends). I’m grateful for all the family and friends I got to see this year and all the ones I didn’t get to see but love dearly and all the ones I love on the other side whose memories and stories we get to share when we’re together. I’m grateful for new projects to be excited about this year and for being so excited about work again that I’m making playlists to complement my day dreaming! I’m grateful for my wonderful nanny Lulu who has made it so I’m able to work again. I’m grateful for Rossi’s in Poughkeepsie for making the best chicken parm and baked ziti and meat lasagna so we could cheat at our own Christmas Eve potluck. And I’m grateful for my niece who loves all the fart gifts I get her each year- this year was a whoopie cushion and a farting pen and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I think the ziti must have really messed with some of the grandparents’ tummies because wow the sounds they were making when they sat down hard on a certain chair 🎅🏻💨

Started off with some tears and then quickly turned into thrilled laughter which is actually scientifically proven to be the greatest sound on earth. @vidantaworld you have won my heart forever.
I am always grateful for our friends at @vidantaworld for hosting us every year so we can have the most gorgeous Thanksgiving with my mama in PV (or close to it for the sticklers!) This year was somehow even better than the last four have been. I heard they “specialize” in babies, and we showed up to our gorgeous room with spectacular view to find the coolest little tepee (I only photographed it after we had sufficiently made it messy- sowwwy) that the grandparents have decided they need to get bub for Christmas (nobody tell her). We had a car seat, crib, the whole shebang all ready for us which was a dream because traveling with baby gear is already bonkers and basically requires three mules and mules are hard to take across country borders. THEN we got to see a dress rehearsal of the new Cirque de Soleil show Ludo @ludo.cirquedusoleil which BLEW OUR DANG MINDS. They built the space for the show. You will see why!!! I think my lil midwestern ass said “wooooow” over 400 times that night- from the walk in through the park (Very Jurassic Park vibes) to the theater entrance to the pre show drinks to the dinner presentation and then to the show which had us screaming. Please please please see this show if you are in PV you will LOVE it. I’m trying not to spoil too much with my photos and vids here. It’s INCREDIBLE AND I NEED ANOTHER WAY TO EMPHASIZE MY WORDS OTHER THAN ALL CAPS. I can’t wait to go again next year. And the cherry on top of everything- bb Strong MacG experienced the ocean for her very first time.
