At the time it was our best “NOT YET, OVARIES!” and a subconscious effort to push away any societal pressures that were trying to influence our decisions before we had a chance to know our own. Though the thought of birth still brings my fallopian tubes to my throat you can hear the gals and I gabbing about it between bites of tataki and sips of chai spiced cocktails as if it were brutal sorcery …because it is; Kids kick their way into this world covered in placenta and full of bloody f***ing magic. Shout out to @happyveganbabyy who elevates my heart, settles my soul and has me highly invested in the bowel movements of her toy dog Spotty. Side note : For those interested – just heard that the BC government will be paying for one-cycle of IVF starting April 2025. 💥 *Footnote: I am not a Doctor, joking can NOT protect you from pregnancy.
