Jamie Otis Instagram – HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY @doughehner!🎉 We went from complete strangers to CELEBRATING a friggjn’ DECADE MARRIED TODAY!👰🎉🤵‍♂️ We didn’t even know each other’s names as I walked down the aisle to say “I do” but we legally committed our lives to each other right after introducing ourselves🤪 & we’ve been together ever since!🥰 From the way our wedding went, no one thought we’d make it – least of all me🫣 – but my hubby always knew we’d go all the way!👏😜❤️ This past decade has been a roller coaster for us.🎢 Just like any other married couple, we’ve had super high highs like having our two beautiful babies, renewing our vows, skydiving, traveling across the country in an RV and so much more!🎉 We’ve also had some terribly low lows like losing our first born son👼💙, finding out about a massive amount of debt which led us to moving in with my in laws, having two more pregnancy losses while trying to conceive😢, and then I had *terrible* postpartum depression after my last pregnancy.😬 We have spent the last year working on growing both as a couple and individually.🙏❤️ We bought our forever home, began planting our roots 🌱, & started going to church.🤗 We’ve been trying to conceive on and off for the last 3 years, but I never once got a positive test. Our doc diagnosed me w secondary infertility about 1.5 years ago. I was kinda dumbfounded since I never had issues getting pregnant before! I wouldn’t take infertility as my future..I began doing everything I could think of to try to get pregnant! Eventually when I kinda gave it all up to God he blessed us with TWINS!🤯🎉🤰👶👶❤️👏 Life is truly such a journey. We get out of it what we put into it.💯 I want our next decade of marriage to be better than our last so instead of being beach bums vacationing on a fancy beach (like we’ve done for almost every anniversary) this year I switched it up for us and I signed us up for a self-help motivational seminar with Tony Robbins!🙏❤️👏 We kicked off our tenth year by being 100% present and focused with each other (and Tony😜🤪). We’ve been crying and laughing and hugging and GROWING.🙏 @doughehner I can’t wait to see what our next decade brings! I love you!😘
