We saw an amazing fertility doc who told us (and showed us!) I have secondary infertility. I had a scan done that showed I had a blocked fallopian tube and low-normal AMH. I have a lot of other things that I’ve shared that also contributed to my “secondary infertility.” I wouldn’t take that as my final answer though. My heart KNEW I was meant to be a mommy to more children.🙏❤️ I was literally PRAYING for twins. I’d go to the gym and close my eyes and envision myself pregnant with two!💯🤰👶❤️👶 My hubby knew I was trying to manifest twins (while really just hoping for one healthy, viable pregnancy). He’d laugh and say, “we’re stopping at 3 kids!”😝 After 3 years trying to conceive with ZERO positive pregnancy tests, you can imagine how surprised I was when I found out I got pregnant naturally!!!🙏🙏🙏 When we found out there are TWO babies growing inside me my husband said “HOW?! You’ve been saying it and you willed it!!” I just said, “SORRY! God’s in control, not me!”🤷🏼‍♀️🤣🙏❤️ I’m so happy we caught this raw reaction on video (now it’s on our Youtube channel Hanging With The Hehners) bc I’ve probably watched it 100X.🥹🥹🥹 What I’ve come to learn through this pregnancy that God really does listen to our prayers.🙏 Our minds are powerful.💯 What we focus on and believe will become part of our lives in some capacity.💕 Instead of focusing on your troubles, fears, weaknesses, focus on your goals, hopes, & successes!🙏 it’s a lot easier said than done, but it truly works.❤️ Doug and I are celebrating TEN YEARS MARRIED this weekend! Being that we were married as complete strangers on Married At First Sight, I think this is such a huge accomplishment!👏 I’m so proud of us! I feel like we are ending one era and starting another! And I am so excited to see what the next decade has in store for us. It’s def gonna start off with a BANG that we couldn’t have even anticipated!!! Jamie Otis Instagram – HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY @doughehner!🎉 We went from complete strangers to CELEBRATING a friggjn’ DECADE MARRIED TODAY!👰🎉🤵‍♂️ We didn’t even know each other’s names as I walked down the aisle to say “I do” but we legally committed our lives to each other right after introducing ourselves🤪 & we’ve been together ever since!🥰 From the way our wedding went, no one thought we’d make it – least of all me🫣 – but my hubby always knew we’d go all the way!👏😜❤️ This past decade has been a roller coaster for us.🎢 Just like any other married couple, we’ve had super high highs like having our two beautiful babies, renewing our vows, skydiving, traveling across the country in an RV and so much more!🎉 We’ve also had some terribly low lows like losing our first born son👼💙, finding out about a massive amount of debt which led us to moving in with my in laws, having two more pregnancy losses while trying to conceive😢, and then I had *terrible* postpartum depression after my last pregnancy.😬 We have spent the last year working on growing both as a couple and individually.🙏❤️ We bought our forever home, began planting our roots 🌱, & started going to church.🤗 We’ve been trying to conceive on and off for the last 3 years, but I never once got a positive test. Our doc diagnosed me w secondary infertility about 1.5 years ago. I was kinda dumbfounded since I never had issues getting pregnant before! I wouldn’t take infertility as my future..I began doing everything I could think of to try to get pregnant! Eventually when I kinda gave it all up to God he blessed us with TWINS!🤯🎉🤰👶👶❤️👏 Life is truly such a journey. We get out of it what we put into it.💯 I want our next decade of marriage to be better than our last so instead of being beach bums vacationing on a fancy beach (like we’ve done for almost every anniversary) this year I switched it up for us and I signed us up for a self-help motivational seminar with Tony Robbins!🙏❤️👏 We kicked off our tenth year by being 100% present and focused with each other (and Tony😜🤪). We’ve been crying and laughing and hugging and GROWING.🙏 @doughehner I can’t wait to see what our next decade brings! I love you!😘

Jamie does so much for this family, and for me, and continues to work harder than anyone I know. You deserve all the rest you need Jamie. Please don’t ever apologize for asking me to do something or get something for you no matter how close it is! Anything you ask, no matter how random or miscellaneous it is…know that I do it with the happiest heart!
