Jana Kesenheimer Instagram – Finding people who spontaneously love spending the whole weekend on their bikes, getting up at 5:30 am just to start in a cold (and salty) drizzle, but then sharing the best views and snacks for many many kilometers, is just easy – ever since I started participating in „Ultra“ events. Shoutout to the Well-known Alex, Alpinist-Sebastian, Kurier-grinder-Simon, young-wild-Anatole, and myself, cruising with Home-Turf-Markus, who joined on Sunday. We’ve been hitting up some of Austria’s finest: from Seefeld, detouring through Bavaria to Hochfilzen, then up to Hochköngig, Hallstatt, and looping back via Red Bull to Salzburg.
We covered ~430k and ~5200moa in two days, spending the night in an Appartement, packing light:
I brought a down jacket, a hooded rain jacket, gloves, an offbike-shirt and leggings, bike tools, a toothbrush, a powerbank cables, a rescue blanket, and snacks.
