Overdue update. A truck journey to Victoria (I know, I know, zero spare moments to sail her down 🤦♀️), mast in the air, engine running and settling in at home.

Because an opportunity to celebrate should never be wasted.
It’s notoriously bad luck to rename a boat without the proper fuss so finally getting the name on was the perfect excuse to raise a glass.
Credence was her original name, so it’s lovely to take her back to her heritage.

Azzurro is a boat I’ve fangirled for years. She’s the same type of boat, an S&S 34, that I sailed around the world and as Pink (now my own Credence) who starred in Netflix’s True Spirit.
I couldn’t be more proud to be supporting @strokefdn as part of this race. Since my partner Cam passed away as the result of a stroke in 2021, I’ve gained such an appreciation for the work the Stroke Foundation does to prevent and treat stroke and support survivors. Donation link can be found in my bio. Every donation will be the most fantastic motivation for us on watch in the early hours of the morning, sleep-deprived, waves breaking over us, battling seasickness!
