Obviously this is weird for me too. Our terrace house in Brixton is a great place for weird little gatherings and extraordinary toddler mess but maybe not for @thetimes paper but nonetheless they took great time and care to ask me about where I live and what I love art wise … so thank you! Chuffed as conkers that pieces by world renowned artists were photographed alongside treasures made by my sister, dad, and cousin in the photo of Juno’s room! Thanks to the #paoty press team, @trent_mcminn for the lovely photos (sorry I went off and did emails and left you to wander around ha ha ) and to Scarlett Russell for making the interview so calm and considered.

This week marks 7️⃣ years since I started my dream job @sohohouse (yes, I started in the madness of Frieze week in 2016!!) Coincidentally, the ridiculously talented bunch that make our beautiful magazine created a long feature on the Soho House art collection that I have the honour of looking after and building with the rest of the art collection team. It now numbers over 8000 works on permanent display across 16 countries and we are proud to have so many extraordinary artist members and be a part of the world’s rich tapestry of art. We spend years researching and building the new collections and I tried to unpack how we do this and what art means to Soho House in this interview with @teovandenbroeke Thanks for my delicious new portrait @jakecurtisphoto and an excuse to wear my favourite boots. And major thanks for putting me in such fine company, its chocca with so many of my heroes most especially the legendary @lauriesimmons who was the recipient of the Soho House Art Award last month in New York. In print in the Houses and on the SH.APP as well as free to all read on our website. Link in stories. @andrewdiprose @jonathan_heaf @teovandenbroeke portrait by @jakecurtisphoto and you should also know I’m sat in front of @hesterfinchw wonderful work in Shoreditch House.

Tonight! 🚨 🎨 It’s the Final of this year’s Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year already. A beautiful summer’s night watching the artists tackle covent garden in all its noisy splendour, as the moon emerged so too did a fabulous winner. Please don’t ever say I am not poetic. #loaty #landscapeartistoftheyear #skyarts #artaddict #thejudgementals

This International Women’s Day, I’ve teamed up with @theartofldn to honour women artists past and present in London’s West End. 🎨 Ever the art addict, I took myself off on a cultural journey spotlighting some of my favourite women artists, you can follow my full guide on @theartofldn website. Starting at @royalacademyarts, the Angelica Kauffman exhibition (ticketed) is a long- awaited exploration of this founding member of the RA who rose to great prominence as one of Europe’s most celebrated artists. From a star of the 18th Century to a giant of today’s contemporary landscape, I also loved seeing the free display focussing on Lubaina Himid’s works on paper in the Collection Gallery. Himid has dedicated her 30-year-long career to uncovering marginalised and silenced histories as well as being an educator and a great champion for women artists. A quick coffee turned into a long one so I could take in Cornelia Parker’s installation in the Royal Academy’s ‘Keeper’s House’ for their members. A home for art lovers for over 150 years, and a hidden treasure. On to the @nationalgallery where masterpieces by Artemisia Gentileschi and Vigée Le Brun demonstrate women artists have been an integral part of art history for hundreds of years. Finally, a chance to bathe in dozens of ground-breaking women artists in one display @nationalportraitgallery with the CHANEL culture fund display, Reframing Narratives: Women in Portraiture. I loved seeing Issy Wood and Sarah Lucas happily ensconced amongst historic names like Maeve Gilmore. I finally sat down to take it all in the @nationalportraitgallery new hotspot, Larry’s @daisygreencollection. Simply put, it’s divine. It’s vital to not just be asking where women artists are, but demanding to see them, and it feels like every year London gets better and better and answering this call. Here’s to elevating women’s voices and talents in every form. ⭐️Stories from The National Portrait Gallery starts Tuesday night on Sky Arts at 8pm. ⭐️ I can’t believe I got to roam around such a treasure trove of British art and history while it prepared to open its doors after an epic 3 year refurbishment and repositioning of the collections. I loved meeting the curators and artists that make this place so special. Join me for the next three weeks and say hello to some faces you will recognize, from those on the walls (Shakespeare, Queens, poets, proto feminists, badasses, writers and everything between) and those who wander the spaces with me including @moragcaister and the gallery’s director @nicholascullinan #nationalportraitgallery #npg #storiesfromthenationalportraitgallery #artaddict #skyarts
One week today marks International Women’s Day and we have an epic day of talks, workshops and pop ups planned. I am so grateful for all these badass artists, writers, curators and organizations for joining me for an Art Invasion at White City House (@sohohouse powered by @porsche )Across the day we are going to be interrogating domestic spaces, the cult of beauty, will women artists catch up in our lifetime and the concept of rebel women with pop up shops from @tateshops @houseofbanditsstore and an art installation with @darceyfleming_ and even some chances to get your hands dirty with artist led workshops with @inesfcs @guendaina @charlottemei_ @byzantiaharlow @aleximjmarshall . This is going to be a stone cold classic, I’ll be kicking the day off at 10am with a member mixer and relaxing into a piccante that evening at our all star dinner. Bring it on. #iwdartinvasion Powered by @porsche
