On the way to my first day back on the job for @LoveitorlistitUK. We’re working with a lovely family in Caterham and one of the great perks of my job is sometimes being driven about, but at the moment it’s more of a downside as sitting in the car is a wee bit sore; following the stair surfing incident I’m much happier standing up. But I did want to say a HUGE thank you for all the very kind messages, I don’t recommend hurling yourself down 15 steps, but I was very touched that people were so kind, every cloud….

I am battered & bruised and putting my pants on is a struggle 😂 but I’ll be back on track soon. @philspencertv is stepping into the breach and is taking over with my house hunters. On L,L,L what comes first is the lovely people who give up their time to house hunt with us and we must never forget that. 😘

There is no filter which will make this better, in the second film I edited out my bum, but foam rollers makes such a difference and I’m a huge convert, so in the name of my faith, once and only once, it’s me in legging! 😬#backpain #excercise #selfhelp #selfhealing

In a taxi on the way to King Cross station. I do my make on when I get to work, today we’re in Grantham for @loveitorlistituk, but how do I ensure I don’t scare the horses first thing in the morning? These 3 products, @jonesroadbeauty miracle balm, I discovered this on insta, got suckered into buying it and now swear by it, then bright coral lip & cheek stick also Jones Road and the @charlottetilbury tiny wee mascara wand for eyebrows, easy peasy. That’s it, chucked on in the taxi and now @philspencertv is being amused by my asking him to read out the product names. As usual #notanad just a tip, all paid for the normal way.

I did a live post from @lacquerchest earlier but lost connection, these are few pics I took this morning. This shop is one of my favourite places in the world, the huge and constantly changing array of beautiful, quirky & fascinating objects from all corners of the world is a joy, and there really is something for most budgets, it’s not one of those shops where you daren’t ask the price and anyhow, everything is carefully labelled. The shop belongs to my Mother in law, Gretchen Andersen, and my children were always allowed free reign in the shop, she never seemed to worry that they would break things, and they never did.

Poppy Chancellor was a hugely talented artist. She was witty and innovative, and the work she created was vibrant, brilliant and compassionate. She lent her considerable talent to many causes and campaigns that she advocated for with enormous energy. Poppy contributed to a number of our craft shows and to the Handmade Fair, many of you will remember her very fondly. Today her family announced her tragic early death on her Instagram @poppyspapercuts. Please look at it, it tells her story. My heart goes out to her family & friends.
