Ok. It takes a lot to make me fangirl. But today as I was bringing snacks to Kane’s first basketball game of Fourth Grade, I happened to turn and look over my shoulder and there was @paulstanleylive!!! Such an LA moment but I immediately introduced myself and told him I was a big fan. I had met him yeeeears ago when KISS played the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland with Ted Nugent! @brandi_is_the_new_black remembers! We ended up having a great conversation about our kids and the stresses brought about by parents when it comes to higher education. Come to find out, he ended up being on the wrong side of campus for his son’s game but we took this pic before he made his way over there. Kane was oblivious…but I did make him stop and I introduced him to Mr. Stanley. 🤭🥳🤘🏼 Thank you for being so cool Paul! Hope you found the gym after all that!

Ok. I know I posted a story yesterday with a different angle of this dance class with the absolute BADASS that is @heatherrelizabethh. Going in, I was feeling a little insecure about myself and my dancing abilities…but this class was a great space to feel confident and just be who you are…regardless if you’re a professional or a beginner like me. I danced when I was Kaia’s age but stopped. I have always wanted to dance as an adult. I watch this video and see lots of room for improvement and figuring out how to move my body better…but I feel like I can continue to figure it out and be the best version of me I can be. (Bad knees and all from playing sports!) There is something to be said for putting yourself out of your comfort zone and finding the confidence it takes to pull this off. And let me tell you…dancing in heels is no joke! But it definitely puts you in the mood and helps give you the attitude to pull it off! Funny, when I was modeling, even if you weren’t doing a full length shot, we always put on the heels to get into character. You just feel different and hold your body differently when you’ve got the full gear on. I had a great time learning from Heather…listening to her lifting us up and giving us space to be sexy and confident. THANK YOU HEATHER!! ♥️ 👯‍♀️ And all with a group of a women I had never met before but hope to dance with again soon! 💃🏻✨

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone! Yesterday (as a family) we welcomed home a plane full of Air National Guardsmen from a deployment. They were fortunate enough to make it home just in time to spend today with their families. I am grateful for our family and friends. For our health and community. For the men and women who wear the uniform and our first responders who work to keep us safe. What are you grateful for?

Proud Mama!!! Both Kane and Kaia had assemblies this past week at school. Kane’s 4th Grade performed the California Fiesta…where he was a rapping vaquero. Kaia’s 2nd Grade performed the Wizard of Oz and Kaia was a dancing poppy. Both of them worked hard to memorize their lines and learn new songs. I love that our school really puts an emphasis on performing and public speaking along with a rigorous focus on academics. ♥️

Love and Respect to all our Veterans today…and always. It’s hard to explain deployments to people who have never experienced them. But here is a little clip of the last time Chris came home after being deployed for months. Both kids were old enough to know Daddy was gone and were counting down the days until his safe return. There is nothing like this feeling. ♥️🇺🇸💙

Today I’ve thought about all of the people in my life that have served our country. That includes my father who served in Vietnam, my husband who is still serving and many other family members and dear friends that have all worn the uniform. Today the country remembers them, but I think about them every day. It’s a tiny percentage of Americans who volunteer to put on the uniform and serve. I am grateful for each and every one of you. If you gave a few years or dedicated your life to service, THANK YOU. I thought about joining at one point in my life. I didn’t, but that guilt of not serving my country led me to do all I could for them. I did 16 USO Tours, 14 of those I visited the Middle East. I spent Thanksgivings and Christmas Holidays with our troops. I visited wounded warriors in the hospitals at home and abroad. I worked with charities to raise money and awareness. And I always wanted the family members to know we appreciate them and we care. Families serve right along with their loved one and the burdens often fall on them. Fun times Saturday night with @circusvargasofficial!!! They never cease to entertain us with a phenomenal family show! We haven’t been since Covid and the kids are a little older…and they still loved it! The looks on their faces are worth the price of admission! I highly recommend going…your kids will love it and you’ll feel like a kid again! 🎪 #circusvargas

Here’s a fun flashback! This was a segment I did with @johnsalley for The Best Damn Sports Show Period. Back then the game was the BCS National Championship…now it’s the College Football Playoff National Championship. I have so many great memories from my career and from @foxsports! Sometimes it felt like a dream!!! Guys would tell me how jealous they were that I got to cover all the amazing things in the world of sports…like Superbowls, World Series, Championship games, All Star Games, Spring Training…all of it!
