Leeann Tweeden Instagram – Ok. I know I posted a story yesterday with a different angle of this dance class with the absolute BADASS that is @heatherrelizabethh. Going in, I was feeling a little insecure about myself and my dancing abilities…but this class was a great space to feel confident and just be who you are…regardless if you’re a professional or a beginner like me.
I danced when I was Kaia’s age but stopped. I have always wanted to dance as an adult. I watch this video and see lots of room for improvement and figuring out how to move my body better…but I feel like I can continue to figure it out and be the best version of me I can be. (Bad knees and all from playing sports!)
There is something to be said for putting yourself out of your comfort zone and finding the confidence it takes to pull this off. And let me tell you…dancing in heels is no joke! But it definitely puts you in the mood and helps give you the attitude to pull it off!
Funny, when I was modeling, even if you weren’t doing a full length shot, we always put on the heels to get into character. You just feel different and hold your body differently when you’ve got the full gear on.
