Lilián García Instagram – Day 3 of WSW was EPIC!! 💛 We planned to go for a hike, but it wasn’t until that day that we decided to do the Laguna Beach hike which started right behind my former house. I knew the trail well so I was very excited to share it with my sisters, but I had no idea that because of all the California rains that had been occurring, we were going to be met with so much mud. Not to mention, we didn’t know it was gonna rain that day, but that led to an awesome adventure. ⛰️🌧️ 14 girls laughing it up and working as a team to get through the two hour hike. The views were spectacular and the camaraderie and bonding time was even better. At the top of the mountain towards the end of the hike, one of the women @sarah12smiles , stopped us and had us reflect on what we had just experienced. She presented it in such a beautiful manner, reminding us that we were all going to the same destination and on the same path, but all having different experiences. That really made me reflect on life where we are all going to the same destination – heaven but all having different experiences. What I loved about this adventure was how no one was complaining. We were all full of joy no matter the circumstance and helping each other through it when someone needed a hand (like poor @shelbydaniellephotography who had no traction on her shoes 😆). When searching for the right people to share this life with, look for these qualities whether it’s your partner or tribe. Life is much easier when you have people around you that are full of support, love, patience, joy & kindness. As we ended our day all dolled up and breaking bread together, we reflected on our 3 days together and how we were forever changed by it. This is what life is all about. Surrounding yourself with amazing humans and sharing this crazy ride together. I love you sisters! I am grateful for you and forever changed by you! Lilián García Instagram – Picture this: Women’s Retreat 14 Women 4 Days California NO DRAMA! 😜 This past weekend, this group just proved it’s possible!! And not only is it possible, but we created such a loving space that everyone felt safe to be vulnerable and grow their connections. Let me back up a bit and tell you who we are. We are: WSW Class 001! 🙌🏼 (Women Supporting Women) It’s a group I have been a part of since its conception when I first met most of these beautiful ladies at a couples retreat a few years ago. We instantly bonded and knew we wanted to form a group where we could collaborate and support each other in our jobs, families, & life. Because we live in different parts of the country, we started meeting bi-weekly via zoom calls. But this year, we decided it was time to come together for an in-person women’s retreat weekend! And what a weekend it was!! Full of curiosity, adventure, kindness, vulnerability, bonding, love, team work, and oh the belly laughs! 🤣 So, for the next few days, I will be sharing our daily bonding experiences because frankly, they’re too beautiful not to share. My hope is that you will see the importance of community. No matter whether it’s a men’s group or women’s group, being with one another is vital for growth and life enrichment. I know for sure my life has been enriched because of these connections and experiences Day 1 consisted of: 💫 Getting out of the zoom boxes & being with each other in the flesh 💫 Shopping together for our weekend needs 💫 Bonding while cooking dinner 💫 Getting to know each other more as we talked for hours into the night… ….more to be continued on Day 2… . . #womenshistorymonth #womensupportingwomen #womensretreat #femalebonding #womenempowerment
