Theatre was and still is my safe space. I got myself into every single musical and play within my reach since I was very, very young. No one in my family has any musical abilities, but the day that I found the red album with the fire escapes on the cover, my life was changed and I never looked back. I would sing and act any chance I got and if there wasn’t an opportunity to do so, I made one. I’ll never stop chasing that theatre dream. Self tapes can be soul destroying but they also capture a piece of you at a certain time of your life that will be memorialized forever. Those moments should be cherished forever because time moves very quickly. They also help get the word out about your incredible talents. I may not have landed THAT job, but Everybody’s Talking About Jamie was my next audition and I got it! My hope for each and every one of you is that you GET THE JOB!!!!
