It’s such a privilege to tell this story….My Nan, grandad, aunts and uncles all worked in the pottery industry….when making this project we interviewed over a hundred ex potters… between laughter and mischief… one woman told us she worked for months and months and months to perfect a tulip, she said she couldn’t sleep until she got it right. A series of storytimes with some well known readers from the deaf and hearing community telling stories with an interpreter and I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to be reading and signing the first one. The storybook is for ages 5-7 (but all older and younger children/siblings are very welcome) I’m a bit stuck as to what the best books for this age group are, so please send me some suggestions if you have them….
