The Norwegian Nobel Committee, through chairwoman Berit Reiss-Andersen, acknowledged her struggle as one that has been endured at a “tremendous personal cost.” Her light, undeterred by the dark confines of incarceration and international strife, continues to shine brightly, casting a far-reaching beam that touches corners and ignites solidarity globally.
