Victoria Spence Instagram – When I was properly wrapped up in counting calories, weighing food and staying as lean as possible, I remember going to my friend’s, and she grabbed a bag of crisps because she fancied some. In my head, I thought, ‘Wow, it’s so attractive how much she doesn’t care about calories or obsess over the way she looks’, and that freedom around food kind of became my goal. I wanted to look and feel like someone who was carefree, & who worried more about having a lovely life than she did about her weight on the scale. It’s been a ride, but I am that someone now. & I know I don’t post as much about food or body image anymore, but that past version of me always feels a little bit of pride every time I share some food on my stories and people who are in the place I was, message to say how my freedom around food helps them be more free too🫶🏻 #foodfreedom #itsbeenajourney
