Dean McDermott Instagram – Second band practice and it’s going amazingly well!! @poweredbyflav on lead guitar and vocals, @jarrettborba on the skins and @imdeanmcdermott on the bass. I love these guys. Their teaching me so much. My only wish is that I had of done this in my 20’s. I didn’t because I was afraid of failing, and I still might. But that’s NOT stopping me this time. I try and teach my kids to not be afraid of failing. I’m using my experience with fear to show them what NOT to do. Don’t let fear paralyze you. Fear is a dream crusher. I’m also showing them that it’s never to late. I’m in a post punk band at 56 years old and loving it. All you parents out there, please encourage your kids and loved ones to shoot their shot. Fall flat on your face and get back up swinging.
