What happened to us? Why are we all stuck and anxious? Lost and Afraid? I’ve realized… it is not our fault.
We used to be explorers. Charting distant lands. Waking up with the sun. Tuned into the world, deciphering the patterns around us, and perceptive to the changes of our earth.
We used to walk barefoot. Eat with our fingers. Sit around fires.
We used to be warriors. Strong. Resilient. Sharp.
But times have changed.
We’re Soft. Scared of spiders. Afraid of human connection, but also aching for it deeply.
We’re given little spiritual cookies for behaving correctly. Sit down. Shut up. Be nice.
We were forced to be this way. Enticed like a donkey with a carrot to trudge toward this fate.
With this new year. I’m creating new solutions. Ways to break free from being stuck. Options for those who know they were meant for more.
