I’d much rather live my life collecting stories, moments, and lessons.
These are treasures that can’t be taken from you. They don’t take up space, you could say they are invisible.
Yet they do add beauty to those who wear them. And I say “wear” experiences because you do see them on people who have them. In their character, in their understanding and empathy, in the way they carry themselves throughout life.
Possessions have their place, but don’t underestimate the power of building your own story. You’ll get far more from $1000 spent backpacking Asia, then $1000 spent on a wristwatch.
The truth is, a good story is perhaps the most valuable thing you can own. 🐉
