Luck needs risk to exist.
How does the hero slay the dragon in the back of the cave? Always by the skin of his teeth. Against all odds.
These are the stories we keep telling. The one where the hero wins in the final hour by way of a miracle.
But is it truly by chance? Or is it grit, hope, and dedication? The daily sharpening of a sword. The training, the studying, the rest. Day by day, year by year.
Proving to yourself you are what you say you are. Proving to God and the universe that you are worthy of the prize. Only the can you venture into the cave with a torch and a compass and slay the beast that lies inside.
I’m talking in metaphors.
Here’s the point.
You want to be lucky?
Train hard and take more risks.
Only then you’ll get the treasure.
