Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa Instagram – Fun @fangoria reunion event at @forbiddenplanetnyc in Union Square last night! For horror obsessives, “Fangoria” magazine is our bible. After college, working at the “Fangoria” offices in Midtown NYC as an editorial assistant was my first “grown-up” job. (Of course, I didn’t get paid—except for subway fare!) But @timponetony, who was editor-in-chief back then, couldn’t have been a kinder, more encouraging boss and mentor. And after my stint opening mail, I got to visit horror movie sets and interview some true icons of horrors. Nowadays, I’m just a devoted subscriber—as I have been since I was eleven (with the back issues to prove it). But it was a treat to catch-up with the old crew, including writer/editor Michael Gingold and novelist @claymcleod. Clay and I met working on an evening of short horror plays now almost…twenty years ago. His story in the latest issue of “Fango” is terrific. And his most recent horror novel, “What Kind of Mother,” is truly a horror tour-de-force. Read it with the lights on. ☠️🏆❤️🔥💥👑🎭 | Posted on 28/Jan/2024 23:24:50
