Simone Moro Instagram – Thirteen years ago today, Cory Richards, Denis Urubko and I made the first ever winter ascent of Gasherbrum II. I cannot believe that thirteen years have already passed since that February 2, 2011, when the first of Pakistan’s five eight-thousanders was climbed in winter premiere: a piece of history that will remain indelible in me and not only me.
