After an amazing opening at the Mori Museum, and a fantastic celebration in Kyoto last night, I’m heading today to Tokoname. The space is so beautiful these days thanks to the support of my team here and the Kato Rengo development company who manages the Maruri buildings. if you’re in Tokoname, come and say hi! We will be playing great music and serving tea all day.
The Johnson Publishing Company Library is roughly 29% completed (3,400 books cataloged)! In our digitizing process, we’ve been delighted to discover a number of rare books, including “The Soul of Wit” (1978) by Elissa Ward Johnson, available at only one other library according to Worldcat. We’ve also catalogued Pearl Bailey’s Duey’s Tale (1975) and Hurry up America and spit (1976), personally signed to John Johnson.
