Alexandra Munroe Instagram – In Paris, thrilled to have contributed to the catalogue and conversations around the moving and deeply-researched exhibition, “J’ai une famille” organized by Evelyne Jouanno, Hou Hanru and Isabelle Renard at the Musée de L’Histoire de l’Immigration. The show features work by a generation of artists from China who made Paris their home in the 1980s and early 90s, and made a community forging what Chen Zhen called “trans experience” – the in-between of being other, everywhere.
