Amy Williams Instagram – 3 main reasons why I train, that has nothing to do with typical beauty standards, but that make me feel good as a mum to 2 boys in my 40s:

1️⃣ For my mental and physical health:
🔹Mental Wellness: exercise📉reduce stress, & anxiety, which I feel mount up some days & weeks.
🔹Physical Strength and Longevity: As we age, maintaining muscle mass, strong bones 🦴 and flexible joints becomes increasingly important.

2️⃣ For confidence:
🔹Setting and achieving my fitness goals boosts self-esteem and provides a sense of achievement, however small those goals maybe that day.m, week or month.
🔹Self Belief – that I’ve still got that Olympic Champion inside of me even if she’s a bit old, rusty and broken 🤣

3️⃣ To be a role model for my boys:
🔹I want to lead by example: Children learn by observing, especially their parents. I want to show them that their mum is strong 💪🏻- I need to be to keep lifting and cuddling them, Oscar’s over 30kg and Alfie 20kg!! 👦🏼 👦🏼
