I was also paying my executive assistant a $70k salary, paying my nephew $20/hr room and board, and paying another assistant $25/hr AND paying a Black trans woman a $40K salary health benefits and room and board who must’ve been living by the “fake it til you make it” motto, because not only was she unqualified but kept making excuses as to why she could not learn the basics like google drive. This is what I would call a “wasted opportunity”. Imagine me giving you an opportunity and you’re not ready for it? You know how many people ask me if they can work for me? Sorry…Now ain’t no giving chances when it comes to my business I LITERALLY cannot afford it. I founded a whole nonprofit with FREE services to help folks get prepared for opportunities.
