Azmeri Haque Badhon Instagram - I was overwhelmed by this film! It is the story of every home, but the way she put it together made me so hopeful and proud. What a beautiful, honest and pure story it is! This is what I actually wanted to say for the last 3/4 years: we need to see things through the eyes of a female director or writer and from a female gaze because we are done watching films through the eyes of society and those who are privileged. This way of seeing a family from a daughter’s perspective is so powerful and beautiful. Aunty is a rock star! I can feel her pain and suffering with every beat! I can connect Humaira and I know uncle’s character as well. I just loved it. A must watch!
