B.K. Cannon Instagram – While we hoped COVID would have been a thing of the past by now, it’s not! Masking up is still a great way to stop the spread and help to protect vulnerable populations like our camp kids! Kuleana is a uniquely Hawaiian value and practice which is loosely translated to mean “responsibility”. The word kuleana refers to a reciprocal relationship between the person who is responsible, and the thing which they are responsible for. There’s no “your kuleana” when it comes to public health.
@campanuenue 2021 was a wonderful, joyous success, and the children were ecstatic to be able to attend! The fact that we were able to hold in-person Camp this year, without incident, was a testament to our commitment to safety & the effectiveness of our protocols (masks, vaccines & social distancing).
