5 yrs ago, Today….. One of the Hardest, Worst Days of my life! I HATE Cancer!!!! My Diva Soldier Daughter Drea went HOME! I Love God! I Trust God! It still really hurt tho 😔 I know God knows my heart n I Know God got it! No more pain, no more sickness, no more suffering…. I hold on to the time God allowed us. We all carry her in our hearts n will do so, Always n Forever! I am So Thankful for my family…. Without them I can’t imagine how we make it thru…. Nobody Familys like Us!!! Grateful for The time, the memories, your light n laughter, the jokes that only We get……. I guess that just has to do! ….. We were doing local gigs n you just knew when he started playing, this young one is Special! Always with that smile, Always so cool. A sweet soul n he Never changed! We both were featured on The HillFest DC Jazz Festival some yrs ago n I was just so Happy to see this young man we witnessed come into his own n So Very Proud of Casey as he was Still with that smile, Still so cool n Still So Special!!! Really can’t believe I’m writing this rt now 😔 Casey Benjamin you will Never be Forgotten! You are Forever Loved, Respected n Appreciated!
