Christine Lagarde Instagram – We have made progress on gender equality, but better is not good enough. Today, on International Women’s Day, I spoke about the importance of closing the gap at the Professional Women’s Network’s Global Summit. I want to share some thoughts: ▶️ Gender inequality persists in way too many sectors. Women need take their rightful place in the jobs and occupations that will define the future. ▶️ We need more entrepreneurs in Europe, but we are not getting the most out of female talent. Only 11% of EU start-ups are led by women. To all women, don’t short yourself. Think big. Take risks.
