We had to update this number 4 times since yesterday. #ceasefireNOW
A doctor at Israel’s Sde Teiman field hospital described ‘deplorable conditions’ and ‘routine’ amputations due to handcuff injuries at a field hospital for detained Palestinians. The use of handcuffs with excessive force that leads to such severe injuries underscores a blatant disregard for human rights. These handcuffs can cause excruciating pain, nerve damage, and tissue necrosis, ultimately resulting in irreversible damage that necessitates amputation. The thought of amputation due to such injuries is horrifying. In a letter addressed to Israel’s attorney general and defense and health ministers, the doctor expressed concerns that the conditions at Sde Teiman field hospital compromise inmates’ health and violate medical ethics. The doctor stated, ‘Just this week, two prisoners had their legs amputated due to handcuff injuries, which unfortunately is a routine event.’ The doctor’s letter highlighted that inappropriate care at the detention facility has led to ‘complications and sometimes even in the patient’s death,’ implicating the medical teams and authorities in the violation of Israeli law. According to Haaretz, the doctor further described that ‘inmates are fed through straws, defecate in diapers and are held [in] constant restraints,’ actions that violate medical ethics and the law. This is deeply distressing. We must demand accountability and international intervention to end these atrocities and uphold human dignity. #palestinianpublichealth #freepalestine

Despite losing his legs from an Israeli attack and being unable to play with his brother, this child shaved his head in support of kids with cancer. The resilience of Gaza’s children is a testament to the strength of their hearts. These children, despite facing unimaginable challenges, exude a spirit of hope and determination that demands our immediate action and unwavering commitment. We need to protect Gaza’s children. #palestinianpublichealth #ceasefirenow🇵🇸

This is Genocide. 💔💔💔 #palestinianpublichealth #gaza #freepalestine
Meet @art_baraa_faraj, a very talented artist from Gaza whose resilience and creativity endure amidst the horrendous destruction of life by the occupation. Forced to seek refuge in the Al-Mawasi camp near the Egyptian border, he sketches the daily suffering of his fellow residents, depicting life in makeshift tents under harsh conditions. Despite losing almost everything, Baraa persists with his art, using the few materials he has left to capture the struggles of the displaced Palestinians. Filmed and edited by talented cinematographer @hamed.sbeata, who works tirelessly to convey the reality of life in Gaza. This reality follows six months of genocide imposed upon them by the occupation, offering a glimpse into their world through art and film. #ceasefirenow #cinematography #art #artist #rafah #gaza #palestine #palestinian #freepalestine #almawasi #refugeecamp #un #gazaunderattack #drawing #gazadrawing #gazalife #drawingsfromgaza
@mohammedelkurd we know many of them..we saw it all. 💔
via @nida_aljazeera (Did you ever wonder why IL had so many prisoners to exchange during the swap?) | We met Saif a few days after he’s been released from IL prisons in late November.. then again around his birthday on March 25 when he turned 15. No birthday, or celebrations.. but he was hoping he would get an electric bike as a gift.
