Jenni Falconer Instagram – What a day. 😍

London Marathon day is my favourite day of the year.
Even today, when I had an issue with my toes, I still smiled I would say around 90% of the way round. (My toes cut open and were bleeding from mile 9-they really hurt).

It may have prevented me getting the time I’d hoped but I was only 30 minutes behind with my walk/run combo. So I am super delighted with the end result.

Thank you to everyone that called my name and cheered me on….you made a difference. The crowds get better and better every single year. Today was also a perfect marathon day-not too hot, blue skies, the sun was shining. β˜€οΈ

I couldn’t fault anything apart from perhaps sadly my trainers needed to be bigger. I will not make that mistake again.

Well done to everyone who took on the 26.2 mile run and congratulations if you also crossed that finish line. What a special club that was today. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of it.

Thank you @londonmarathon for putting on such an immense event.

Now who’s going in the ballot for next year? πŸ’™
