Jennifer Nettles Instagram – A story of Sweet Kathleen: Please meet the beautiful light that is Kathleen Madison. I met Kathleen today in the airport lounge. Kathleen just turned 71 and lives in Florida. When I walked over to sit near her, she smiled so warmly and asked, “How are you?” To which I responded as I do in all airport lounges, “I am great, just debating on whether or not to get some Cinnamon Toast Crunch!” To which she responded, “Well, would it make you happy?” (Indeed it would Kathleen. Indeed it would). We became friends as Kathleen informed that she was 1/3 Witch, 1/3 Butterfly and 1/3 Gypsy and I was like “Same, Girl. Same.” Kathleen then pulled up a picture of me online and said, “You look so much like this girl.” And I said “I get that all the time because I am that girl.” Kathleen then told me that her friends were never going to believe it so I said, “Well let’s take a picture and I will post it.” (Additionally Kathleen gave me many nuggets of wisdom and I love her). We parted but, the moral of the story is, I love Kathleen. (And Cinnamon Toast Crunch) (But not as much as I love Kathleen).
