Love is a beautiful beast that can raise you up and tear you down. The greatest and the most horrid things in the world are expressions of love or the lack thereof. If we could love ourselves better the world would be a much less angry, more peaceful place.
I performed Etta James ‘At Last’ as a surprise dedication to my partner of 14 years. I choked up twice while performing seeing him tear up.
