It’s a cognitive shift that affects some astronauts when they see the earth from space where they no longer identify with a specific nationality or culture after seeing earth from outer space, instead they see themselves, and all citizens on earth, as one people, living on one world.
I’ve never been in space ( only on screen) but I’ve always felt this to be true in my heart as long as I can remember.
It’s beyond heart breaking to see innocent people and children get hurt and killed. There’s 32 armed conflicts around the world today. The hate & the divide seems endless but I refuse to accept this is what we are made of.
I believe the majority of the human race choose peace & love and it’s a smaller group that perpetuate hate, terror & violence. If more of us want peace we should be able to attain it but not as bystanders. Please sing, shout & stand with PEACE.
