Leanne Ford Instagram – Got some film back of images my love @erikallenford captured from around our house and felt like I should share them. I love seeing our home through his lens. And…YES… these are THE pants. The traveling pants that have seen the world with me for over 20 years, they’ve been borrowed by many of my girlfriends … and a few brave guy friends, and have most recently “shared the stage” with the loveliest and talented @kendallrobbinsmusic during her big Carnegie Hall debut. (She stole the show. Standing ovation.) So many of you messaged me yesterday with the sweetest notes after listening to the most recent @melrobbins (she couldn’t be cooler…) podcast where she tells the full story of the traveling pants. I can’t listen (never listen to stuff about me!) but my husband said it was “a tear jerker” which is big coming from him. The link is in my bio (and stories) for the podcast — the pant story begins at about 50 min but honestly give the whole thing a listen if you have the time… Mel knows. My favorite line from Mel “What if your possessions are not yours to have but yours to give? And to lend to others to lift them up.” In truth — It wasn’t a big deal to let a stranger borrow my pants. I’ve done it before. I practically MAKE my friends take my clothes. But — I mean, it was Carnegie Hall after all!
