Melanie Posner Instagram – If you’ve been following me for a while then it’s no secret I have a dark past and a lot of trauma. I’ve always tried to be transparent about my mental health and why I create the things I do. I call my paintings my passion pieces, as they’ve always been an outlet for me to express where I’m at in life. For the first time in my life, I finally feel at peace with myself. It’s taken me such a long time to get here.. a lot of self work and a ton of healing. I’ve finally bloomed into the woman I know I’m supposed to be.
It’s important for me to share this piece of my story because it’s a memory of mine I will never forget and something that has repeated in the back of my mind subconsciously stunting my growth for awhile now. I’m so happy it no longer is. Thanks in advance for reading, caring, following my journey, and hopefully seeing the painting as beautiful as I do.
