I have done some cool shit. Fortunate to cultivate these experiences. Cool because I felt like I was creative, expressive and authentic to my bodies canvas choice.
I still do cool shit, given my bodies current expressive form, new and available technology AND overcoming societal stigmas. We are not getting younger. Every day finds us further away from the freedoms of youth and able-body, able mind.
I think I appreciated it then and I definitely appreciate it now. While i continue to be a mandatory mover, I do reflect, have gratitude and strive to balance the relationship between mind and body. Actually what I should focus on is balancing the internal dialogue and external expressions with nothingness. I have a hard time just being. Sitting. Oh the irony.
