From a personal standpoint, I am so desperately sick of germans instrumentalizing the bullshit antisemitism argument & the number of times l’ve been called antisemitic AS a jewish person, that occasionally I just lose patience and use it back at them to shut them up. It’s not a political stance, it’s an emotional reaction bc I am indeed just a person :) Racist bile like this is a completely ordinary, daily experience for Arabs and certainly Palestinians in Germany – the fact that it sounds and feels extreme is a result of it being directed at a white person (having nothing to do w being Jewish).
