After being called an antisemite, dragged by German mainstream media, getting hateful emails calling for me to die or be deported and getting fired from my job at German public media network “SWR”, I talked to co-author of “The Myth Of Normal” and Ally of Palestinians @danielbmate , who kindly sent me this video to give further explanation to a German audience on why economically boycotting Israel is a legitimate form of protest and in fact is (obviously) not antisemitic. The oppression of Christians in Gaza is not a recent development, but it has been exacerbated by Israel’s blockade, which has led to a decline in living conditions and access to essential services. This blockade, in effect for 17 years, has contributed to the erosion of the Christian community in Gaza through illness, isolation, and, tragically, death.
On October 19th, Israel bombed the Church of Saint Porphyrius, Gaza’s oldest, killing at least 18 people. Despite the Israeli army’s statement that the church was not the target of the attack, Diana Tarazi, a 38-year-old Palestinian Christian, expressed disbelief, stating, “The missile fell directly on it. We cannot believe that the church was not their aim.”
Pope Francis has repeatedly used the term “terrorism” to describe Israeli actions in Gaza, including the killing of unarmed civilians taking shelter in churches. In his Christmas Day appeal, the Pope called for “an end to the military operations with their appalling harvest of innocent civilian victims.”
The persecution of Christians in Palestine is not a new phenomenon but has deep historical roots, dating back to the Nakba of 1948. Despite facing ongoing challenges, both Muslim and Christian Palestinians continue to demonstrate resilience and hope in the face of adversity, embodying the spirit of perseverance that has defined their struggle for generations.

At a Chelsea Handler show on Friday night in Richmond, VA, white women who have not lost their souls forced other white people to confront our American complicity in GENOCIDE, begging them to no longer remain silent after 195 days of massacre.
To be clear, these are protestors who are AGAINST the indiscriminate slaughter of human beings and were met with yelling and booing by fellow Americans.
They were told Palestinian children “should die”.
They had wine thrown at them.
They were arrested.
And they were repeatedly told they were “so annoying”.
We all know white America does NOT like sauvvy-blanc girls’ night disrupted.
Which is why we need more white Americans to disrupt it here, there, everywhere.
“You guys really owe me an apology” — Chelsea Handler / Inconvenienced white Americans.
No — YOU owe Palestinians an apology. YOU owe every single orphaned Palestinian child AN APOLOGY. YOU owe HUMANITY an apology.
Demand a Free Palestine.

Germany and its citizens must understand that anti Arab racism will not absolve Germany of its crimes against humanity.

The bullshit with this asshole was of course not motivated by antisemitism (in the sense of anything anti-Jewish) – I have no illusions nor am I claiming that that was the case. It was purely anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab racism that was directed at me through my association with Palestine thru the kuffiya. From a personal standpoint, I am so desperately sick of germans instrumentalizing the bullshit antisemitism argument & the number of times l’ve been called antisemitic AS a jewish person, that occasionally I just lose patience and use it back at them to shut them up. Racist bile like this is a completely ordinary, daily experience for Arabs and certainly Palestinians in Germany – the fact that it sounds and feels extreme is a result of it being directed at a white person (having nothing to do w being Jewish). Give that a good think & reflect

The Free Gaza flotilla was transporting 10,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid in order to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza. A UN investigation determined that soldiers summarily executed six people.
No one has ever faced charges.
The incident caused a global diplomatic crisis, which forced Israel to temporarily ease restrictions on imports and travel into Gaza.
Human right lawyer and organizer Huwaida Arraf says, “Israel still faces very little to no repercussions. And that brings us to the situation where we are today, where Israel is carrying out a genocide because it’s so used to the impunity that it has been granted by the international community.”

This massacre, where an estimated 1500 people were brutally killed by the Israeli occupation forces, as part of the destruction of the entire hospital and surrounding medical buildings, is one of the largest in Palestinian history and will occupy a space in the Palestinian collective conscience like the Zionist massacres in Deir Yassin and Tantura. Doctors who refused to leave their patients were executed. A number of patients were executed while in their hospital beds. Women and children were found zip tied and executed. Heads and limbs were severed. The IOF separated people into different categories, assigning them different colored bracelets before executing them. We consider how this massacre was reported on in the mainstream media where it was largely ignored in favor of coverage on Israeli’s assassination of the seven WCK aid workers. It is precisely this dehumanization of Palestinian life that has allowed this genocide to continue for six months daily without interruption.

The announcement came just 48 hours after Columbia University’s president summoned the NYPD, who have used violence to arrest dozens of student protestors, using sledgehammers, batons and flash-bang explosives.
