Water voles are Britain’s fastest declining mammal due to habitat loss and predation by non-native species. Thankfully charity @citizenzoo has a goal of reintroducing 101 water voles into the river with the help of @citroenUK and hundreds of volunteers.
Me and @Camillathurlow tried our hands at helping with river planting, removing invasive plants, checking monitoring devices for signs of predators and litter picking. Can’t wait to get Nell and Nora stuck in when they’re bigger too!
