When I heard @samontv has passed I was completely floored. It’s nuts. I am still like what? How? I just wanna say that Sam really was LA. He was the center of our lives in Southern California. @ktla5news is Hollywoods news. The anchors the station , the vibe it’s our family. And Sam was our comfort, always a warm embrace , a quick joke and a question about what project you’re doing. He always made me feel like I mattered. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Gonna miss you buddy, you really made a mark. Sorry I didn’t thank you enough while you were here. Love to you and to your family and to the KTLA fam. LA has lost a light. ❤️🙏❤️

I’m all for giving everyone a fair shot but the facts are he has been a working magician since he was a teenager and is at the mercy of hobbyists.
