John Prine wrote the song “Hello In There” while walking his mail route as a letter carrier in Illinois, born out of the belief that just a simple “Hello”, or random act of kindness can make a difference. At Second Harvest we too believe that when we come together and show one act of kindness, we can make a difference in our communities and for our neighbors facing hunger.
